JACKSON, Mich. — Kyle Kegley of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men’s basketball team has been named as the Crossroads League Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Kegley was fantastic for MVNU against Spring Arbor University and Goshen College. The junior from Mount Gilead averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and two assists for the Cougars through last week’s games. Kegley shot 76.9% from the field for MVNU.

Against the Maple Leafs, Kegley poured in a career-high 30 points on 13-of-16 shooting. Kegley also pulled down 11 rebounds and had five steals.

Kegley and MVNU men’s basketball will be back in action on Tuesday, Jan. 11 at Bethel University. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm.
