GAMBIER – For the first time in his Kenyon College career Ugnius Zilinskas was named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference men’s basketball team.
A 6-foot-4 junior, Zilinskas was selected as a member of conference’s 2019-20 third team.
Zilinskas started all 25 games for the Lords this past season. He led the team and ranked fourth in the conference with a scoring average of 16.7 points per game. He also led the team and ranked second in the NCAC in free throws made (131) and free throws attempted (176). For the season, he shot 47.0 percent from the floor and 74.4 percent at the line.
In addition to those numbers, Zilinskas sat atop the Kenyon charts for rebounds (160), assists (51) and steals (28). He scored a season-high 34 points in a game at DePauw University and rang up double-doubles against Geneva College and Lycoming College.
In three years with the Kenyon program, Zilinskas has played in 60 games and piled up career numbers that include 711 points, 278 rebounds and 94 assists.
