FREDERICKTOWN – This week, reporter Grant Pepper spoke with Fredericktown head coach Beau Wolford and senior quarterback Terry Fearn about the Freddies' Week 3 matchup at Utica on Friday night.

Fredericktown has begun the season 0-2 after losing by 56 to Clear Fork and 33 to Madison Plains. The Freddies' new-look offense has struggled against its first two opponents, mustering just 299 total yards and one touchdown.

Fearn has led the way on both sides of the ball with 78 passing yards, 58 rushing yards and 12 tackles, and he'll look to get Fredericktown back on track this week.

Utica is also 0-2 after blowout losses to Centerburg and East Knox. The Redskins have exhibited similar struggles offensively and defensively, having been outscored by 99 points through the first two weeks of the season. They'll rely on the talent of quarterback Collin McCullough (212 passing yards, 3 touchdowns) and others to carry them to victory this week.

Both teams will be hungry for their first win of the season on Friday night. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. from Redskin Stadium.
