East Knox High School held its annual commencement ceremony on Wednesday, June 2 at Mount Vernon Nazarene University's R.R. Hodges Chapel. The Class of 2021 achieved a 100-percent graduation rate – the first in school history, according to Principal Alan Keesee – and did it during a pandemic. Nearly a quarter of the class graduated with a 4.0 GPA or higher, while two-thirds of the class finished with a 3.0 GPA or higher. This year's valedictorian was Hunter Keller, and the salutatorian was Alexis King.
