Timothy G. Davis, 62, of Mount Vernon passed away on Monday morning, January 23, 2023 at home with his loving wife by his side. He was born on May 23, 1960 in Centerburg to Connie (Disbennett) Davis and the late Glen Davis.
Tim honorably served his country in the National Guard and Army serving during the Persian Gulf. After his military career, Tim went to work for JB Webb and FT Precision. He was a member of the Bass Fishing Club. Tim was an accomplished Marathon runner and was passionate about good health and exercise.
Tim is survived by his wife, Sherry Ann (Dean) Davis, whom he married on July 3, 1992; a son, Anthony; daughters, Tiffany and Ashley; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sisters, Terry and Vicki.
In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death by a sister, Tina.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Dowds Chapel, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg with Military Honors provided by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council.
