Sean M. Roberts, age 43, of Westerville, Ohio and formerly of Mount Vernon, passed away on March 27, 2018. He was born on June 26, 1974 in Sidney, Ohio the son of Kirby Roberts and Ondalee (Watkins) Roberts-Sipe. Sean was a 1992 graduate of Mount Vernon High School where he played on the baseball and football teams. After graduating, Sean joined the United States Army as an infantryman and served in Operation Enduring Iraqi Freedom. After his honorable discharge from the United States Army, Sean worked as a Private Security Contractor in the Middle East.
Sean will forever be remembered for his hilarious sense of humor, his kindness, loyalty and deep love of his family. We are all blessed to have had him.
Left to cherish Sean’s memory is his wife Mandi Roberts; three sons Seth, Max, and Logan; three daughters, Annabelle, Lulabelle, and Isabelle; his father Kirby (Sharon) Roberts; his mother Ondalee (Roy) Roberts-Sipe; a sister, Lori (Tim) Lybarger; niece and nephew, Collin Lybarger and Rylin Lybarger; paternal grandmother, Alice Roberts, maternal grandmother, Margaret Watkins and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sean was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Rev. Eugene D. Roberts and maternal grandfather, Everett Watkins, two uncles, Donel Roberts and Chris Roberts.
Friends may call on Friday April 6th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene 16001 Glen Road Mt. Vernon, Ohio 43050. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 p.m., following the calling hours. Pastor Jason Harding will be officiating.
