Sandra K. Patterson, age 74, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
She was born on November 20, 1944 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to Edsel and Velma (Bailey) Nyhart.
She graduated from Danville High School and moved to Texas for a while before returning to Mount Vernon. Sandra was a member of the VFW in Mount Vernon. She has a Real Estate license, as well as licenses for Hotel Management, Medical Assistant and Nursing. Sandra loved hanging out with her friends and having a good time. Her greatest joy was her kids, grandkids and great-grandchildren.
Sandra is survived by her children, Kristine West, Pam Ballard, Tamara Youell; her mother, Velma Hartwick; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Neely; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her father, Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, James “Pat” Patterson; and a grandson, Joseph West.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
