Ruth A. Burkepile, age 68, of Fredericktown passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Country Court Nursing Home. She was born on July 19, 1951 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Cletus and Betty (Turner) Shaffer.
Ruth was employed for over 22 years at Roberts Oil in Ontario and later for Cole Distributing in Ontario for over 6 years. She was a member of the VFW #5101 in Lexington, the Woman of the Moose #2511 in Lexington, and AMVETS Post #43 in Bellville.
Ruth is survived by her husband Leonard Burkepile; her step-son Chris Burkepile; her sisters, Cindy (Gary) Denick, Bonnie (Doug) Rebman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her sister Debbie Rinehart and her brother-in-law Joe Rinehart.
