Ralph S. Davis, 75, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Feb. 16, 1943 in Winfield, Tennessee, the son of Roscoe and Virgie Marie (Trammell) Davis Sr.

Ralph proudly served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1966. After retiring from Chattanooga Glass, Ralph spent most of his days working on the family farm. In his free time he enjoyed squirrel hunting, coon hunting and fishing. Although he could be tough at times, Ralph was a loving and caring husband, father, brother and friend to many.

He is survived by his son, Terry (Dana) Davis, of Fredericktown; two grandchildren, Trenton Davis and Jayna Davis; two brothers, Alfred (Shelba) Davis, of Butler, Roscoe (Sondra) Davis Jr., of Butler, many nieces and nephews and his canine companion Blackie.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara J. Davis in 1999; two brothers, Thurman Davis and Ruben Davis.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor Rob Patterson will be officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the Richland County Joint Veterans will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
