Paul E. Dailey, age 87, of Mount Vernon passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Mount Vernon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on October 17, 1930 in Knox County, Ohio to the late Seldon and Mary (Ashburn) Dailey. Paul was employed and retired from Sprint Telephone after 41 years of service. He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and the Gambier Fishing Club. Paul was a veteran serving in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife Lois Dailey; two sons, Michael (Bonnie) Dailey of Mount Vernon, Mark (Roni) Dailey of Concord; and three grandchildren, Elyse Dailey, Jenna (Lyle) Enright and Meredith Dailey.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his sister Edna Scott.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 beginning at 11AM in Union Grove Cemetery with Minister Brian Adkins officiating.
