P. Jean Craig, 67, of Mount Vernon OH, passed away peacefully at her home with her family, March 9th, 2023.
Jean was born July 10th, 1955, in Mount Vernon, OH to William and Frances Katherine (Synder) Griffith.
Jean graduated from Highland High School in Sparta. Â
She married Jerry W. Criag on October 2, 1976.Â
Jean worked as a secretary and administrator for the Ohio Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist.  She was a member of the Adventist Hill Church. She loved working with her flowers. She loved crossword puzzles, going to the beach, time with the grandchildren and baking, especially making Buckeyes for Christmas.Â
Jean will be deeply missed by her husband; children Matthew (Lori) Craig and Caitlin Craig; grandchildren Charlotte and Isla; brothers Harry Griffith, James Griffith, John Griffith, Steve Griffith and Jeff Griffith;Â sisters Nancy Stanley, Elizabeth Brown, and Mary Lloyd.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Ronald Griffith.
Friends may call Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Hanlon officiating.
