Nora K. Stiffler, age 66, of Mount Gilead, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was born May 7, 1951 and passed away at home with family by her side on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Golden and Garnette Bolyard; stepmom, Mildred Bolyard; a son, Michael Snyder; and a brother, Ben Bolyard.
She worked at DSCC in Columbus and retired in 2013. She enjoyed family and friends, long motorcycle rides and reading a good book.
In 1981 she married Charles Stiffler, 37 years married, on Nov. 27. Surviving besides her husband Charles is her daughter Susan (Ray) Marteney of Delta, OH; a son, Charles (Jen) Snyder of Galion, OH; two step-children: Christina and Charlotte; eight grandchildren: Sabrina, Michael, Paula, Cody, Dustin, Ian, Allison, and Elias; and three great grandchildren: Zoe, Kingston, and Karter.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21 at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 North Main Street, Mt. Gilead, OH 43338, with Rev. Sue Antolik officiating. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
