Kevin Edward Frazee passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Friday, September 25th after a short but courageous battle with cancer. With the love and care of his family and Hospice of Central Ohio, Kevin remained peaceful and comfortable. Kevin was 61 years old and was born in Mount Vernon, OH on January 21, 1959 to Margaret (Krownapple) Frazee and Gene Frazee.Β

Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary (Mullins) Frazee, and his three children Colin Frazee of Columbus, Tyler (Denny) Hoobler of Howard, and Sarah (Dara) Loch of Blacklick. Kevin was the beloved grandfather (Papaw) to four beautiful grandchildren, Vincent Frazee, Ava and Charlotte Hoobler, and Isabelle Loch. He is also survived by his three sisters, Geneen Schonauer, Renee (Doug) Gilbert, and Madonna Rapp all of Howard, as well as many special nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his loving Grandmother Helena Krownapple, mother Margaret (Frazee) Summers, his father Gene Frazee, stepfather David Summers, brothers Jeff Frazee, Brett Frazee, and Todd Frazee.Β

Kevin was truly an eccentric individual, who always had an interesting story to tell. He was a master carpenter who was known for building custom homes, one of a kind furniture pieces, and wooden arks and toys. He was always working on a project and tinkering on his old 1928 Chevrolet was his favorite pastime.Β Β Kevin loved to tell jokes, go camping with his family, set off fireworks, and spoiling his grandchildren.

Kevin was a dedicated husband to his wife of forty years, Mary, who was his high school sweet heart and proclaimed love of his life. Kevin loved being a father and taught his children how to live life to the fullest and to be brave. He also was the very best Papaw to his four grandchildren who adored him and he could make an ordinary day seem extra special. Kevin had a multitude of lifelong friends that he enjoyed spending time with and swapping stories.
