MOUNT VERNON -- The Knox County Republican Party invites the community to attend its monthly Chairman’s Reception Tuesday, May 23, at Mazza's Restaurant at 6 pm.

This month’s guest will be former Congressman Jim Renacci, speaking on the issue of closed primaries and "party raiding." Party raiding is the practice of members of one party voting in another party's primary election.
