Coffee with Council Nov 21

MOUNT VERNON — In an effort to extend availability to all residents, Mount Vernon City Council will host a "Virtual Coffee with Council" on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

These sessions were started earlier this year to provide opportunities for residents to have face-to-face time with their elected council members. However, COVID-19 halted the practice until September, when the virtual version was implemented.

“As COVID numbers continue to rise, we are forced to continue to offer Zoom sessions to stay connected to the residents of Mount Vernon” said Samantha Scoles, First Ward representative and chair for the employee and community relations committee.

“The residents have the opportunity to ask questions and set the course for the conversation so this is definitely a great opportunity to sign in and let your voices be heard," she said.
