Crash Reports

Oct. 27

  • Barbara Ann Houle-Krul was traveling into the Speedway parking lot from Newark Rd. Mildred V. Williams was parked at Speedway in front of the store and was backing out when she was struck by Houle-Krul.

Oct. 28

  • Marjorie June Stamp was traveling south on S. Mulberry St. and ran the red light posted on S. Mulberry St. causing him to strike Susan K. Finneran who was traveling west on W. Ohio Ave. Stamp was cited for running a red light.

Oct. 29

  • Joseph Z. Fulton was traveling north and pulled into a parking garage located on N. Gay St. 1 struck the building when failing to follow the clearance sign before entering the garage. No injuries were reported. Fulton was cited for reckless operation/off street.
  • Tammy J. Griffith was leaving Kirk St. near Taco Bell and attempted to make a left turn onto Newark Rd. Griffith struck Danielle E. Chadwick who was traveling south on Newark Rd. No injuries were reported. Griffith was cited for starting and backing vehicles.
  • At approximately 8:12 PM an officer responded to a non-injury crash on Coshocton Ave. The officer made contact with the driver of a white Dodge van, identified as Kevin Feorene. Feorene advised he had been traveling east on Fairgrounds Rd. a few minutes prior when he struck a deer causing damage to the front of the vehicle. Photos were taken of the damage and a report was written.

Oct 30

  • A vehicle owned by Zachary E. Barnes was struck by an unknown vehicle which left the scene. Damage was done to the left rear of the vehicle.

Oct. 31

  • Freda Doshia Parrott was traveling east on Harcourt Rd. and struck Alicia N. Lively. There were no injuries. Parrott was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Incident Reports

Oct. 28

  • An officer handled a theft complaint over the phone. The theft occurred on N. Mulberry St. Nothing more to report at this time.

Oct. 29

  • Officers responded to Marion St. in reference to a disturbance. The complainant reported a male used a baseball bat and broke out the windows of his house. The officer observed two broken windows and collected a baseball bat from the scene. This incident is under investigation. There is nothing further to report at this time.
  • A male who lives on W. Lamartine St. reported a theft from his vehicle. A report was filed.
  • Officers were dispatched to Shalimar Dr. in reference to a disturbance here is nothing further to report.

Oct. 31

  • An officer was dispatched to the Super 8 Motel for a female who pulled the fire alarm. She was issued a summons for inducing panic.
  • Units were dispatched to E. Lamartine St. for a disturbance. When units arrived they spoke to the complainant who advised he had been assaulted. The complainant declined a medic and units did not observe any redness or swelling where he stated he had been struck. A statement was collect. Officers attempted to located the suspect but with no success. A short time later an officer spoke with the suspect over the phone. The suspect advised he was in Loudonville. A report was taken and an investigation is pending.
