MOUNT VERNON -- Knox County Sheriff's deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
MAY 4
-- A deputy was dispatched to a non injury accident on Wooster Road. Complainant stated that while attempting to turn right into a driveway she was hit on her side passenger door by a small SUV. Deputy collected pictures and statements. Driver of the small SUV was issued a citation. Nothing further at this time.
-- A deputy was dispatched to the lobby of the Sheriff's Office to investigate a report of a fraud. Complainant stated that she had a credit card opened in her name in another state. Complainant stated that she did not know who had opened the card in her name. A report was taken for documentation. Nothing Further at this time.
-- Deputies observed an individual walking on a railroad track in the area of Newark Rd near Vance Road. Deputies made contact with the individual, and identified the individual. The individual had an outstanding warrant out of Marion County. The individual was arrested by Deputies and transported to the Sheriff's Office. A report was taken for documentation.
-- Deputies were dispatched to Lakeview Heights Drive in Howard on a disturbance between a father and son. Deputies spoke with all parties involved, parties separated and a report was taken to document the incident.
-- A complainant reported that an identified business had placed several bags of trash in his construction material dumpster. The bags of trash were removed.
