MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

APRIL 30

— A gas station clerk in Centerburg reported a theft. The license plate of the suspects vehicle wasobserved by a customer. The incident is still under investigation.

MAY 1

— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Vanatta Road to investigate a possible trespassing incident. Deputies made contact with both parties and the suspected party was trespassed from the property. A report was generated for documentation.

— Deputies were dispatched to the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office to investigate a kidnapping complaint. Upon arrival to the lobby, Deputies observed signs of mental health issues from the reporting party. A report was taken.

— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hillcrest Drive in Danville to assist on a structure fire. Complainant called in stating that their neighbors outdoor shed was on fire next to a propane tank and needed the fire department to respond immediately. Deputies were able to arrive on-scene and clear the area, while the fire department began combating the fire. A report was written for documentation.

— Deputies were dispatched to the Town Center Market in Apple Valley in reference to a theft that occurred. A report was taken for documentation.
