Sept. 22

  • Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance on Columbus Rd. The complainant advised he and his intoxicated girlfriend were in a verbal altercation and he wanted her to leave. The deputies arrived on the scene and determined nothing physical had happened. The female was warned about her conduct and the parties were separated.

Sept. 23

  • Deputies were dispatched to Buena Vista Rd. in Fredericktown for a disturbance. While the deputies were en route, dispatch informed them shots had been fired from the residence. It was later discovered it was not a gun shot but a loud bang. Neighbors were interviewed and confirmed there were no gunshots. Threats were made by a resident to another resident and her sons. Charges of domestic violence and aggravated menacing were sent to the City Law Director's Office.

Sept. 24

  • The Kenyon College Campus Safety Office contacted the KCSO to report a suspicious person/vehicle trespassing on college property. Deputies responded to the scene and made contact with the suspicious person. After consent to search the vehicle was given, deputies found drugs and drug paraphernalia. These items were seized and placed into evidence. The suspect was issued a minor misdemeanor citation for possession of marijuana.
