- Deputies spoke with the complainant who wanted to file a report for identity fraud. The complainant said she was notified by Huntington Bank in reference to an account that had been opened in her name using her Social Security number. She was advised by the bank to file a report. The complainant was advised on how to start monitoring her credit.
- The complainant called the KCSO to file a report about a post made on Social Media. The complainant believed the post might be in violation of a protection order.
May 4
- A deputy made a traffic stop on Parrot St. near Columbus Rd. for a loud exhaust. During the traffic stop the deputy noticed the strong odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. Standard field sobriety tests were conducted and the driver, Lesley Wayne Betz, was arrested for OVI. During a subsequent inventory search of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia was found.
