May 1

  • The complainant reported John R. Capoccia was at his property. Capoccia had a warrant against him and wanted to turn himself in to the authorities. Capoccia was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

May 2

  • Dispatch advised the Ohio State Patrol had stopped a vehicle at Columbus Rd. near Gilbert Rd. The driver of the vehicle was found to have a felony warrant and refused to exit the vehicle. Deputies responded to th4e scene to assist the trooper.
  • Deputies were dispatched to an Apple Valley residence on a welfare check. The suspect, Larry A. Fox, had recently been released from jail and had been advised not to be on that property. The caller advised Fox was on that property. Deputies responded and spoke to a witness who confirmed Fox had been on the property but had left before the arrival of the deputies. Contact was made with Fox who was arrested for probation violation and resisting arrest.

May 3

  • Deputies were dispatched to Lock Rd. near Simmons Church Rd. for a report of vandalism. The complainant said he witnessed juveniles driving a truck through his field, causing damage. The suspect was located and cited.
