KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

- A deputy was dispatched to a possible vandalism call. The caller stated an unknown person attempted to defeat the lock on his front door. There was no visible damage to the lock.
- Deputies responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. Deputies arrived on scene and conducted an investigation. The result of the investigation was the arrest of Evan Wayne Dickerson for domestic violence. He was transported to Knox County Jail without incident.
- Deputies were advised of a burglary call that could be handled by phone. The complainant, a Howard resident, said someone had damaged his front door by prying it. He said nothing seemed to be missing and wanted a report to document the incident.
- Deputies were advised a complainant was at the KCSO wanting to file a report of identity fraud. The complainant said while she was incarcerated, an unknown person opened a utility account in her name. A statement was collected and a report was made.
