KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

- Assistance was provided to the MVPD for an individual who was refusing to leave the homeless shelter after being advised he was no longer welcome there. The suspect was given multiple chances to leave and failed to do so. The suspect was removed from the premises and issued a summons for criminal trespass. The suspect was assigned a court date.
April 1
- Deputies made contact with Brandon Butler in the Knox County Sheriff's Office. Butler appeared to be in a mental health crisis. He was taken to his probation officer, then KCH. After both places were unsuccessful, Butler was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments at his probation officer's request.
- A complainant came to the KCSO to file a report concerning identity fraud. A report was made on the complainant's behalf.
April 2
- While in patrol a deputy noticed a storage unit door was damaged at the incident location.
