June 4

  • Benjamin M. Mast was traveling east on Nashville Rd. Mast lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail on its passenger side. He was cited for failure to control.
  • James W. Lovra was driving south on Millersburg Rd. and struck a deer crossing the roadway. The vehicle was towed from the scene because of disabling damage. There were no injuries.

June 5

  • A traffic stop was conducted on Coshocton Rd. near Upper Gilchrist Rd. During the investigation it was discovered the driver of the vehicle, Michael Hart, was impaired by alcohol or drugs. During the pat-down a pistol was found in Hart's waistband, concealed under his shirt. The pistol was removed from his possession and secured in the cruiser. A search of Hart's vehicle found marihuana oil and marijuana paraphernalia which was seized. The standard sobriety test was conducted and Hart was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired and using weapons while intoxicated. Hart was also issued two minor misdemeanor citations for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia.
  • Deputies conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation. During the stop investigation, marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia was discovered inside the vehicle. The suspect was issued minor misdemeanor citations.;
