  • The suspect, Jason Briggs Crook, was the subject of a call of a suspicious person to the Mount Vernon Police Department. The MVPD advised the sheriff's office they were out with Crook and held him until a sheriff's deputy arrived. Crook was placed under arrest for failure to register his address as required for sexual offenders in Ohio.
  • Deputies were informed by dispatch of a complainant wanting to check if his travel trailer had been towed from his Fredericktown address. The complainant did not know how long it had been taken. Deputies checked and could not find a record of it being towed. The complainant then stated he wanted to report a theft. The complainant did not have and information about the trailer at the time of the call so deputies contacted him several days later to gather information to file a report. The trailer was described as a 1987 Mallard camper.
  • The complainant contacted the KCSO regarding the theft of a catalytic converter from their vehicle.
  • The victim came to the KCSO to report someone hacked into his phone. A report was done to document the incident.
