KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Aug. 26
- The complainant called and advised a vehicle had crashed into a telephone pole on their property. Deputies responded to the scene and spoke to the driver of the vehicle. After investigating the incident the driver was arrested and transported to Knox County Jail where he was given a citation and released.
- The victim/complainant called to report someone had attempted to cut the catalytic converter from her vehicle. A deputy spoke with the victim and a statement was collected. A report was completed for documentation.
Aug. 27
- Deputies were dispatched to the area of Columbus Rd. and Perry Rd. to investigate a vehicle crash. During the investigation deputies determined the driver, Brandon D. Angel, was driving while intoxicated. Angel was arrested for DUI and cited for driving under suspension and failure to control.
