May 17

  • Jonathan M. LaRue came to the KCSO to turn himself in because he believed he had a warrant for his arrest. Dispatch ran his information through LEADS which showed two warrants out of Mount Vernon Municipal Court. LaRue was taken into custody and turned over to jail staff without incident.

May 18

  • A deputy went to a N. Sandusky St. business on a report of found property. The item found was a clear bag with faint white residue in it. The item was collected and placed into evidence for disposal.

May 19

  • Deputies located Michael Goines. He was arrested for an outstanding warrant from the Mount Vernon Municipal Court. Goines was transported to the Knox County Jail and released to jail staff.
  • An unknown vehicle was traveling east in the Bridge of Dreams parking lot and struck a vehicle owned by John B. Denton in the driver's side of the vehicle.
