  • The KCSO was advised of an incident of computer fraud. A deputy spoke with the victim and a report was written.
  • A deputy was advised of an incident of breaking and entering at the Liberty Township House on New Delaware Rd. The deputy spoke with the complainant and a report was written.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a residence on S. Edgewood Rd. on an active domestic violence incident. Dispatch advised the complainant said his girlfriend was coming at him with a hammer. The suspect fled the scene but was located in her vehicle on S. Center St. The suspect, Penny Jean Hignite, was arrested and charged with domestic violence and aggravated menacing. Hignite was transported to the Knox County Jail where she was released to jail staff.
  • Brant Mason Moreland was traveling south on Pipesville Rd. and slid on a patch of black ice. He slid across Millwood Rd. and struck a ditch where the vehicle came to rest.
