  • Assisted a citizen – in the 300 block of North St.
  • The K-9 unit assisted the Mt. Vernon PD by conducting a sweep of a vehicle for the detection of illegal drugs/contraband w/negative hit – Norton St.

April 7

  • The DARE officer conducted two DARE classes for the first-grade students
  • Officer dealt with hazardous material (syringe needles) – found in the 800 block of South Market St.
  • The K-9 unit assisted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office by conducting a sweep of a vehicle for the detection of illegal drugs/contraband w/positive hit – in the 1500 block of Coshocton Ave.

April 8

  • Loose horse – in the 200 block of East Walnut St.
  • Assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle – Millersburg Rd., Brinkhaven
  • Report of an intoxicated person walking on roadway – Brinkhaven Rd. 
  • Disturbance – North Alley, Brinkhaven

  • Medical alarm – West Washington St.
  • Medical alarm – Rambo St.
  • Medical alarm – Howard-Danville Rd.

April 10

  • Officer observed an unattended campfire and extinguished the fire – Bridge of Dreams, Brinkhaven
  • The K-9 conducted a sweep of a vehicle for the detection of illegal drugs/contraband w/negative hit – Main St., Brinkhaven
  • Assisted sheriff deputies – Flat Run Rd.
  • Assisted Mt. Vernon PD – East Walnut St.
  • B&E attempt – East Walnut St.
  • Officer found an unsecured door of business – North Market St.

April 11

  • Assisted sheriff deputies – Humbert Rd.
  • Complaint of a dog running loose – East Washington and West Washington Streets
  • Phone scam – in the 27000 block of Flat Run Rd.
  • Conduct a well-being check on a citizen – East Walnut St.
