Knox County Grand Jury

MOUNT VERNON — A Texas man is among those indicted by a Knox County Grand Jury this week.

Juan F. Salazar Hernandez of Groves, Texas was indicted for aggravated vehicular assault, a third-degree felony, and failure to stop after an accident, a fifth-degree felony.

Additional charges include three first-degree misdemeanors: operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, and operating a motor vehicle without reasonable control.

Other indictments include:

•Jesse R. Martin, Mount Vernon, three counts of domestic violence, all third-degree felonies

•Jeffrey A. Petrey, Newark, aggravated possession of drugs, third-degree felony

•Elijah I. Desich, Mount Vernon, one count each breaking and entering and petty theft, fifth-degree felonies; and one count criminal damaging, second-degree misdemeanor

•Scott C. Cosner, Mount Vernon, domestic violence, fourth-degree felony

•Brooklyn R. Miller, Mount Vernon, possession of fentanyl-related compound, fifth-degree felony

•Jason B. Crook, Mount Vernon, failure to provide change of address, third-degree felony

•Mikayla J. Clawson-Harper, Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony

•Kimberly A. Adams, Martinsburg, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, fourth-degree felony

•Christopher R. Perry, Mount Vernon, grand theft of motor vehicle, fourth-degree felony; and possession of fentanyl-related compound, fifth-degree felony

•Douglas J. Boyd, Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony; and possessing drug abuse instruments, second-degree misdemeanor

•Alec R. Jewett, Port Washington, one count each using weapons while intoxicated, first-degree misdemeanor; voyeurism, fifth-degree felony; aggravated menacing, first-degree misdemeanor; and aggravated possession of drugs, third-degree felony
