The Never Forget 9/11 mobile exhibit received a warm welcome as it entered downtown Mount Vernon via a police escort on Friday afternoon. First responders from numerous local agencies escorted the red-white-and-blue semi-truck from the Route 36/37 I-71 exit in Sunbury to Mount Vernon. The truck, which transforms into a 1,000-square-foot exhibit that tells the story of what happened on September 11, 2001, has been to all 50 states and Canada. It will be on display Saturday at Ariel-Foundation Park.
