MOUNT VERNON β€” A Knox County Grand Jury indicted Joshua D. Schoonover, Fredericktown, on Dec. 13 on nine counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, all third-degree felonies. He is charged with an additional second-degree felony count of aggravated trafficking in drugs.

The grand jury handed down 12 additional indictments:

Samuel A. Cole, Mount Vernon, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony; operating a vehicle under the influence, first-degree misdemeanor; and failure to obey traffic control devices, driving outside marked lanes, and open container, all minor misdemeanors

Maria K. Ely, homeless, violating a protection order, fifth-degree felony

John E. Palmer III, Danville, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony

Randy L. Mitchell, Fredericktown, burglary, second-degree felony; and criminal damaging, second-degree misdemeanor

William C. Rine, Edison, failure to provide change of address, fourth-degree felony

Dustin L. Anderson, Buckeye Lake, aggravated possession of drugs, second-degree felony

James V. Duncan Jr., Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony

Kyle B. Bell, Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, third-degree felony

Adam M. Saunders, Centerburg, possession of a fentanyl-related compound, fifth-degree felony

Daniel E. Peters Jr., Mount Vernon, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first-degree misdemeanor; and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, fifth-degree felony

Teresa D. Flack, Glenmont, aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs, both third-degree felonies; felony forfeiture specification

Billy D.D. Jackson Sr., Fredericktown, having weapons while under disability, third-degree felony with forfeiture specification; possession of marihuana, minor misdemeanor; and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, fourth-degree misdemeanor
