Care of the Dying provides an overview of information about the dying process and the needs of the dying, exploring quality of life and quality of death, food and nutrition needs/limitations, skin care, specifics about the dying process: stages, communication, transition and closure.
Mann is a certified hospice and palliative care nurse and end-of-life doula. She has over 30 years of home care and hospice nursing experience and recently published the book: Attending to the End: A Good Death Guidebook.
