MILTON TOWNSHIP – Four people were injured, two of them hospitalized after a Friday night, two-vehicle crash in Ashland County, according to the Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Lisa Bailey, 52, of Ashland, was injured and transported to Ashland Samaritan Hospital by ambulance, the Patrol report stated. A female passenger was also injured and taken by ambulance to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. A third passenger, a male, was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released. The 17-year-old driver of a second vehicle sustained minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene.

The Patrol reported the crash occurred at 7:21 p.m. on County Road 1356 at the intersection of Township Road 1353 in Ashland County.

Bailey, driving a 2007 Toyota Rav-4, was traveling westbound on County Road 1356. A 2007 Acura MDX was southbound on Township Road 1353. The Acura MDX, driven by the teen, failed to yield at the stop sign and pulled out into the path of the Toyota Rav-4, authorities stated. After the collision, the Toyota Rav-4 went off the left side of the roadway into a yard.

The roadway was closed for approximately 1 hour.

No alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash. Both drivers were wearing their seat-belts at the time of the crash.
