Mount Vernon Municipal Court Judge John Thatcher 

MOUNT VERNON -- Judge John Thatcher found 20 people guilty after arraignments and hearings at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court this week.

The judge also sentenced a defendant who had been convicted during a previous proceeding.

-- J. Scott Eshelman, 28 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Assault, Aggravated Menacing, and Domestic Violence. He will be sentenced on June 23, following a pre-sentence investigation.

-- Triston Martin, 22 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Domestic Violence. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with 135 days suspended, and placed him on two years of probation with the following conditions: compete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days, complete the Mount Vernon Municipal Court Hands Down program, and pay $2,024.17 in restitution.

-- Joshua Hall, 35 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol. The Court sentenced him to pay a $500 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended, and placed him on two years of community control with the following conditions: attend and complete a 72-hour driver intervention program and complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days.

-- Sean Kennedy, 27 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol. The Court sentenced him to pay a $500 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with 174 days suspended, and placed him on two years of community control with the following conditions: attend and complete a 72-hour driver intervention program and complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days.

-- Daniel Cockrell, 49 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct with Persisting Behavior. The Court sentenced him to serve 30 days in jail, with all time suspended, and placed him on one year of probation.

-- Aubrey Randall, 22 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Having Physical Control Over a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under Suspension. The Court sentenced her to pay a $500 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended, and placed her on two years of community control with the following conditions: attend and complete a 72-hour driver intervention program, complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days, and ordered she be placed under a Class 7 License Suspension for the OVI charge. She was sentenced to pay a $200 fine for the DUS charge.

-- Titan March, 18 of Mansfield, was found guilty of Speeding. The Court sentenced him to pay a $50 fine.

-- Samantha Cunningham, 27 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced her to pay a $300 fine.

-- Austin Heffelfinger, 25 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia. The Court sentenced him to pay a $150 fine.

-- Godal Rasaily, 30 of Columbus, was found guilty of Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia. The Court sentenced him to pay a $75 fine.

-- Jaelyn Sparks, 22 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments. The Court sentenced her to serve 90 days in jail, with all time suspended, and placed her on two years of probation.

-- John Masters, 38 of Howard, was found guilty of Speeding. The Court sentenced him to pay a $100 fine.

-- Christopher Cole, 31 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $300 fine.

-- Matt Reppart, 45 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The Court sentenced him to serve three days in jail.

-- Brooklyn Miller, 21 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments. The Court sentenced her to serve 18 days in jail.

-- Joseph Fulton, 36 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct. The Court sentenced him to pay a $100 fine.

-- Wayne Hess, 19 of Danville, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct. The Court sentenced him to pay a $150 fine.

-- Michael Butcher, 50 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Theft. The Court sentenced him to serve 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended, and placed him on two years of probation.

-- Breanna Davis, 27 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct. The Court sentenced her to pay a $150 fine.

-- Randall Fannin, 67 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle with Fictitious Plates. The Court sentenced him to pay a $75 fine.

-- Cody Lewis, 27 of Howard, was convicted April 3 of Violating a Protection Order.  He was sentenced this week to serve 30 days in jail.
