MOUNT VERNON – There were thousands of cameras, camcorders, and smart phones being put to good use over the four days of the Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival. New this year, the Festival is sponsoring its first ever Video Contest. The goal for this contest is for participants to create and submit videos that promote the Festival in a positive way, showcasing any or all of the variety of experiences the Festival has to offer. The Top 5 Videos will be posted on the Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival website!
Simply upload your video to YouTube as a public posting, then go to www.DanEmmettFestival.org and fill out the video submission form. Videos will be judged on how well the video represents the Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival, overall creativity, editing, sound and video quality, and number of views on YouTube. The winner of the 2014 Dan Emmett Festival Video Contest will receive a miniature guitar figurine, and have their video featured on the Festival Website.
Videos must showcase any or all of the elements of the 2014 Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival. Only one video submission per person will be accepted. The deadline for video submission is 12:00 Midnight on Sunday, August 30, 2014.
