The Municipal Civil Service Commission of the City of Mount Vernon is accepting applications for a Firefighter/Paramedic test scheduled 10/11/23 at 6:30pm at the KCCC Café. (This is to create a hiring list for current & expected open positions in the near future.)

Pay range (training): $21.26 per hr. ($21.97 in 2024.); (6 months): $22.06 ($22.75 in 2024); (1 yr.) $22.97;($23.68 in 2024) (48-hour week) Great benefits package.
