The Fredericktown Community Fire District is seeking to hire a Clerk in January 2024 who, after training, will act as the Fiscal Officer of the District.
The fiscal officer is responsible for the overall fiscal operations of the Fredericktown Community Fire District. This includes payroll, processing and maintaining accounts payable, preparing fiscal reports, reporting fiscal information to agencies and organizations as appropriate, and ensuring the overall security of the District’s fiscal information.
A high school diploma or GED is required. An associate degree in business, administrative or secretarial science, or related field and/or at least 2 years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
