Law enforcement officers and first responders from agencies across Knox County teamed up Wednesday night to spread Christmas cheer in Mount Vernon. They conducted a “Christmas parade,” circling Knox Community Hospital (shown above) and several local nursing homes while blasting Christmas music from their loudspeakers. Organizers hoped the parade would bring joy to those who are isolated during this holiday season.
