Details for MVNU is looking for an On-Call Bus Driver

The University is seeking On-Call Bus Drivers for its Motor Pool/Facilities Office on the Mount Vernon main campus. The position reports to the Director of Facilities and is available immediately, upon appointment of a successful candidate. Bus Drivers transport students safely to campus activities and athletic events on the University bus. Most trips are during the week, driving 3-5 hours each way and returning the same day, but employees may be called on the weekends. Bus drivers are paid $14 an hour.
Expectations for the successful candidate:
- High School Diploma;
- Evangelical Christian confession of faith;
- Copy of a physical showing the candidate is approved to drive;
- Clean driving record with the ability to pass MVNU’s MVR check;
- Requires CDL A, or CDL B, with a Passenger endorsement.
