MOUNT VERNON – Bob Boss, president of First-Knox National Bank, is pleased to announce the return of Wendi Fowler as assistant vice president and trust officer.
Fowler, a licensed attorney, left banking to practice law for a period of time before returning to First-Knox.
“We were very fortunate that Wendi was interested in a return to banking at the same time we had a need for a trust administrator,” stated Cheri Butcher, senior vice president of Trust and Investment Services. “She brings a set of skills that complement the team nicely and we are thrilled to have her back.”
Fowler has more than 15 years’ combined experience in banking and estate planning, trust, and probate law. She graduated with honors from Earlham College where she majored in history and Spanish. Fowler is also a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Law, and is a licensed attorney through the Supreme Court of Ohio.
In addition, she has completed Cannon Trust School and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor through the Institute of Certified Bankers. She is a graduate of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Knox.
Fowler is a member of the Kiwanis Club, College Hills Retirement Village board member, the Heart of Ohio Estate Planning Council, the Knox County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association’s Council of Delegates, and the North Bend Church of the Brethren. She resides in Knox County with her husband, Chris, and their children, Jack and Emma.
