MOUNT VERNON – Five pubs in downtown Mount Vernon have come together to coordinate a Christmas pub crawl event. Attendees will visit WineStein, The Office, Flapper’s Bar & Grille, HoneyBuckets Tavern and Rookie’s Sports Pub on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 5-9 p.m. Proceeds go to support the Heritage Centre Association. Stops occur every 45 minutes throughout the evening.
For the $10 admission ticket, participants receive one free promotional item at each location, one free raffle ticket for each location’s prizes, $1 domestic bottled beer or $1 off any drink at each location, live musical entertainment, and discounted taxi fare for a safe ride home.
Stop number one is WineStein at 156 Howard Street from 5-5:45 p.m. Music is provided by Scott David and Rumi D until 10:30. Stop number two is from 5:45-6:30 p.m. at The Office at 20 East Ohio Avenue with music by DJ Mitch. Stop three is Flapper’s Bar & Grille at 15 West High Street from 6:30-7:15 p.m. Music will be provided by Gatlin from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Stop number four is HoneyBuckets Tavern at 103 West Vine Street from 7:15-8 p.m. with musical entertainment by the Social Machine from 7-11 p.m. The final stop is Rookie’s Sports Pub at 109 West Ohio Avenue from 8-8:45 p.m. with music by Rare Bird from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
