Marcia L. Brown, age 73, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was born on January 29, 1950 in Galion, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Lillian (Bacchus) Smiley. Marcia graduated with a business degree from college and retired from Jeld-Wen in Mount Vernon.
Marcia enjoyed sewing, painting, and caring for her plants and animals at home. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Tiffany) Brown of Mount Vernon and Chris Brown of Canal Winchester, two grandchildren, Ericka Blanchard, and Jordyne Brown, two great grandchildren, Ayla Sidle and Adley Sidle, two sisters, Sally Segner and Vickie Stepp.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050. The Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Marcia L. Brown.
