MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

FEB. 10

— Deputies responded to a vehicle driving recklessly on Wooster Rd near Vernon View Drive. Dispatch advised the vehicle hit 2 mail boxes and stopped several times in the roadway turning off its lights. The vehicle continued through the grass on Vernon View Drive, where deputies intercepted and made contact with suspect. A report was taken.

— Caller reported a male subject walking up and down the road, possibly impaired. Upon arrival of Law Enforcement, the male subject was found to be impaired and he refused to identify himself. The male was transported to the Knox County Jail.

— Complainant called to report that her daughters boyfriend had broken a sink in her daughters apartment and wanted it documented in case the landlord had questions and he also had left ruts in the yard.

— A complainant advised some person(s) had stolen a box containing personal effects from her bedroom. A report was made on the complainant’s behalf.

FEB. 11

— At approximately 7:28 a.m on Feb. 11, deputies responded to an injured deer that was struck by a vehicle on Martinsburg Road.

— A complainant advised her sister was assaulted by her husband on Saturday, Feb. 11. The husband was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence and Assault. The suspect was transported to the Knox County Jail where he was released to jail staff.

— Deputies were dispatched to the 26000 block of Jug Run Road in reference to a missing juvenile. Upon arrival Deputies conducted an investigation and located the missing juvenile. A report was filed for documentation purposes.
