MOUNT VERNON – Municipal Court Judge John C. Thatcher found 35 people guilty after arraignments and hearings were held at his court from June 18 to 20.
June 18.
Holly Strunk, 21 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Falsification. The Court sentenced her to serve 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended, and placed her on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days, complete 15 hours of community service, and be evaluated for the Thinking or a Change program.
Victor Orndorff, 42 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle Without a License. The Court sentenced him to pay a $250 fine.
Nicholas LaPointe, 39 of Columbus, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of a Drug of Abuse and/or Alcohol and Marked Lanes. For the OVI charge, the Court sentenced him to pay a $700 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with 160 days suspended, placed him on two years of community control with the following condition: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days, and suspended his operator’s license for two years. For the Marked Lanes violation, he was sentenced to pay a $30 fine.
Eritt Coon, 67 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of a Drug of Abuse and/or Alcohol. The Court sentenced him to pay a $700 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended, placed him on two years of community control with the following condition: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days, and suspended his operator’s license for two years.
Stephen Osborn, 51 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Having Physical Control Over a Vehicle While Under the Influence. The Court sentenced him to pay a $500 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended, and placed him on two years of probation with the following conditions: attend and complete a 72-hour driver intervention program, complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days.

Scott Schaade, 22 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct. The Court sentenced him to pay a $50 fine.
Dustin McCoy, 38 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under and FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $250 fine.
Tamara Cochran, 36 of Ostrander, Ohio, was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension. The Court sentenced her to pay a $250 fine.
Joshua Davis, 23 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of littering. The Court sentenced him to pay a $150 fine.
Amanda Stidham, 32 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving without a Valid License and Speeding. The Court sentenced her to pay a $75 fine for not having a license and a $25 fine for Speeding.
Gary Hawk, 37 of Fredericktown, was found guilty of Driving with an Expired License and Failure to Control. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine for the Expired License and a $50 fine for his Failure to Control charge.
Emma Whitacre, 21 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced her to pay a $200 fine.
Stephen Beheler, 25 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct. The Court sentenced him to pay a $50 fine.
Kricket Willey, 25 of Howard, was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension and Use of Unauthorized Plates. The Court sentenced her to pay a $200 fine for the DUS charge and a $100 fine for the Unauthorized Plates.
Amber Zickefoose, 30 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced her to pay a $250 fine.
Lee Schuch, 26 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an OVI/ALS Suspension, Use of Unauthorized Plates and Expired Plates. The Court sentenced him to pay a $250 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with 175 days suspended, and placed him on two years of probation for the DUS charge. For the Unauthorized Plates, charge, he was sentenced to serve two days in jail.
Allen Wheeler, 52 of Centerburg, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension and Obstructing Official Business. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine for the DUS charge and serve 1 day in jail for the Obstructing Official Business charge.
Kolton Chesser, 21 of Newark, was found guilty of Driving with an Expired Operator’s License, Improper Passing Left of Center, and having Expired License Plates. The Court sentenced him to pay a total of $200 in fines.
Chad Creech, 45 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under a 12-Point Suspension. The Court sentenced him to serve 180 days in jail, with 175 days suspended, and placed him on two years of probation.
Bradlee Neitzelt, 26 of Danville, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct/Persisting. The Court sentenced him to serve 30 days in jail.
Sarah McGlone, 35 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Petty Theft and Speeding. The Court sentenced her to serve 180 days in jail, with credit for one day served for the Theft charge and to pay a $35 fine for Speeding.
Mark Parker, 28 of Centerburg, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension and Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia. The Court sentenced him to pay a $300 fine for the DUS charge and a $75 fine for the Marijuana Paraphernalia.
Terry Powell, 39 of Howard, was found guilty of Violating a Protection Order. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine.
Patrick Banks, 29 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The Court sentenced him to serve 30 days in jail, with all time suspended, and placed him on two years of probation with the following condition: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days.
Cecilia Blanton, 33 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Receiving Stolen Property. The Court sentenced her to serve 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended, and placed her on two years of probation.
Timothy Harold, 29 of Delaware, was found guilty of Criminal Trespass. The Court sentenced him to serve 20 days in jail.
William Fuller, 36 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine.
Karen Montgomery, 38 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced her to pay a $300 fine.
Brandon Butler, 21 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct/Persisting. The Court sentenced him to serve 30 days in jail and placed him on two years of probation.
Kayla Schaade, 29 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension and two counts of Petty Theft, and one count of Attempted Theft. For the DUS charge, the Court sentenced her to pay a $200 fine. She will be sentenced on her remaining charges on July 31.
Kendra Harris, 30 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Assault and Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments. She will be sentenced on July 27, 2018 following a pre-sentence investigation.
Conor Pollock, 24 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Assault. He will be sentenced on July 27.

Robert Camnitz, 42 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $100 fine.
Jamie Parker, 22 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Petty Theft. The Court sentenced her to serve 180 days in jail, with 150 days suspended, and placed her on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete 30 hours of community service and do not trespass at Kroger. The 30 days jail is stayed until a review hearing in 90 days.
Scott Cosner, 33 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of Driving Under Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine for each count.
