Arrests and Charges:
Amber Stumbo, 33, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday for theft.
Samuel Devine, 25, of Bladensburg was arrested at 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday for possession.
Incidents:
At 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday, a victim reported that someone had fraudulently filed state and federal tax returns in her name.
Just after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, a middle-school student reported the theft of his Ipod while at the Mount Vernon Middle School.
At 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were dispatched to a residence on the 100-block of Cottage Street and located drugs and drug paraphernalia—including two hypodermic needles, a metal spoon, and a black rope. The items were collected as evidence and a suspect was arrested.
At 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, the MVPD was contacted regarding the theft of two Solaray phone chargers, with a combined value of $36.27, from the UDF store on N. Sandusky Street. A suspect was identified.
At around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a domestic violence complaint at a residence on the 100-block of E. Sugar Street. A suspect was identified.
At 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, an officer responded to a theft complaint at Little Caesars Pizza on N. Sandusky Street. The victim reported that $175 had been stolen. A suspect was identified.

Motorist Assist:
Monday DPD responded to the Lyon’s Den Convenient Store where motorist had accidently locked vehicle with 2 year old child inside. Officer unlocked the vehicle.
Theft:
Wednesday DPD responded to the 10 block of East Washington Street on theft of Oxycodone, Xanax and Soma medications and theft of a handgun.
Disturbance:
Wednesday DPD responded to the 200 block of West Rambo Street on a report of juveniles riding their bicycles amongst the elementary school students creating a safety issue.
Wednesday DPD responded to the 20 block of West Washington Street on report of phone harassment.
Wednesday DPD responded to the 200 block of East Washington Street on report of possible illegal drug activity.
Assist Other Agencies:
Wednesday DPD responded with Children Services to the 200 block of Plum Street on report of suspected child endangerment.
