Arrests:

George B. Hill, 37, of Mount Vernon was charged at around 5:45 p.m. on Friday with domestic violence.

Dana E. Ferenbaugh, 31, of Mount Vernon was picked up just before 10:30 a.m. on Saturday for an outstanding Franklin county warrant.

Carley L. Ash, 21, of Mount Vernon was charged just after 6:20 a.m. on Saturday for domestic violence at a residence on W. Chestnut Street.

Charles D. Talbot, 20, of Mount Vernon was also charged just after 6:20 a.m. on Saturday for domestic violence at a residence on W. Chestnut Street.

Veryl Halleck, 23, of Mount Vernon was picked up at 5:40 p.m. on Friday for an outstanding warrant issued in Scioto County.

 

Traffic Violations:

Austin Fields, 18, of Mount Vernon was cited at 12:40 a.m. on Saturday for running a red-light.

Courtney Coleman, 26, of Miami, FL was cited just after 4:00 a.m. on Sunday for speeding (55 in a 35 mph zone).

Jenha D. Jones, 20, of Lexington was cited at around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday for running a red-light.

Rockey Clark, 23, of Howard was cited just after 6:45 p.m. on Sunday for driving under a suspended license.

Eric B. Bressi, 29, of Fredericktown was cited at around 1:30 p.m. on Friday for speeding (52 in a 25 mph zone).

 

Accidents:

Just before noon on Saturday, Michael N. Agan of Mount Vernon was backing his 1999 Olds Cutlass out of a parking space in the Southside Diner parking lot.  Christopher L. Harmon of Mount Vernon, immediately across the lot, backed his 2007 Toyota Avalon out of his space at the same time.  Minor damage patterns to both vehicles suggested that Harmon had backed further than Agan—which gave him the technical right of way.

Incidents:

Just after 2:00 a.m. on Friday, a routine traffic stop turned up a block Powerline Daisy 340 bb gun and magazine.  An officer took it into custody and took a report from a suspect.

At around 2:50 p.m. on Friday, a victim reported that he had received threats.  A suspect was identified.

At 7:40 p.m. on Friday, an unsecured door was noticed on the 200-block of W. High Street.  

Just before 7:40 p.m. on Friday, an employee of the Duke & Duchess Shoppe drove off without paying for $20.00 worth of fuel.

At around 6:20 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a disturbance at an apartment on the 000-block of W. Chestnut Street.  Suspects were identified and charged and several items of drug paraphernalia (including a green marijuana grinder lid and a plastic water bong) were recovered at the scene.

Just after 6:45 a.m. on Saturday, a parking complaint was filed at the Jeld-wen facility on Newark Road.

At 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, a victim reported a theft from her vehicle parked on the 700-block of Follin Avenue.   Among the items taken from it was a maroon clutch-style purse containing $50.00 in cash and a Woodforest debit card.

At around 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, an officer responded to a complaint of a barking dog on the 000-block of Ash Street.  A suspect was identified.

Just before 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, a victim reported that the windshield of his Saturn had been vandalized while parked on the 300-block of W. Curtis Street.

At around 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, the MVPD was contacted regarding a vandalism on the 800-block of Coshocton Avenue.  Four windows and one door-window on the west side of Dr. Atwell’s building were damaged.  A Kroger receipt and a cell-phone box were recovered at the scene.

At 10:20 a.m. on Sunday, a syringe was found in a driveway on Belmont Avenue.
