Tom Landis, age 68, of Howard, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
He was born on November 27, 1957, in Lancaster, Ohio and was the son to the late David W. and Rose M. (Sayre) Landis.
For the last thirty one years Tom has taken his cows out to green pastures, and tended to his farm and family, which God has blessed him with. Now, his Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ has led him to lie down in green pastures and by still waters, where his soul is restored.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Laura (Van Dyke) Landis; his four children, Charlie (Beth) Landis, Lesley (Rick) Landis, Betsy Landis, and Holly Landis; six grandchildren, Haleigh (Xavier) Mullins, Sarah (Steven) Rainer, Josiah, Jacob, Jaxon and Easton Landis; brothers, David W. (Marlene) Landis Jr. and James R. (Tammy) Landis; along with several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a niece, Jamey Landis.
The family is observing a private service. The Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
