Jean Ann Savoia, 72, of Newalla, OK, passed away July 1, 2026.
Jean was born December 29, 1953 in Columbus, OH to Santiago
and Martha Jane {Kline} Casias.

Jean married Mark C. Savoia on October 23rd, 1981. Mark met her because she worked with his mom in her dad’s business. He saw her in the parking lot and she saw him and wow- it was love at first sight! She loved sewing, needle point, and cross stitch. She loved to travel, both in the USA and Internationally. She loved time with her family. If her kids didn’t want to do something she said “It’ll be fun!” and it always was! She loved her grandchildren more than anything in the world and would do anything for her eight grandchildren. While the children grew, she was able to stay home for some time then later joined Mark working. Jean loved hospitality and entertainment. She was the director of catering and banquet entertainment at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. She was always smiling and loved to laugh. She could talk to anyone, president or garbage man, didn’t matter. Everyone that knew her loved her, even employees.

Jean will be deeply missed by her husband Mark; children Joy Savoia, Tenya (Oliver) Cervantes, Nina (Jeremy) Wakelee; grandchildren Madison, Lucas, Isabela, Dominick, Diori, Ofelia, Emilia and Mila; great-granddaughter Ella; her brother Harold Casias and her many close cousins.

Jean was preceded in death by her son Nicholas Savoia and her parents.
