MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County Grand Jury indicted a Mount Vernon man on Monday on two counts of illegally possessing firearms.

According to the indictment, on or about May 5, Timothy C. Siegle II, 22, was found to be in possession of a Gforce GFY-1 and OMNI Hybrid multi-caliber rifle.

The indictment states he was previously adjudicated a delinquent child for committing felonious assault in 2020 in Licking County. As such, he cannot possess firearms.

Both counts are third-degree felonies, and both carry a forfeiture specification.

The grand jury also indicted Siegle on one count of violating a protection order, a third-degree felony.

Jacob W. Queen, Galion, was indicted on a first-degree felony rape charge. Queen allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 10 between Feb. 14 and Feb. 26 in Knox County.

The grand jury handed down three other indictments:

–Trevor A. Mayle, Danville, one count of strangulation, a fourth-degree felony, and one count of domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor.

–Dylan T. Stull, Mount Vernon, one count of possessing a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony.

–Jeremiah S. O’Neil, Mount Vernon, trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present, a fourth-degree felony.
